Mach was formed in 2022 through the merger of two leading autonomy teams in the agriculture and government autonomy fields. Position Description: Director of Sales

We invite you to lead our business development and sales initiatives, crafting and executing sales strategies that enhance market presence and drive revenue growth. This role is ideal for a visionary leader passionate about technology, sales, and client engagement in the fast-paced tech industry.  You will be reporting directly to the CEO of Mach and have direct responsibility for all North American business and shared responsibility for international opportunities. 


What would I be doing?

  • Lead Generation: Identifying potential customers (leads) through various methods such as networking, cold calling, using social media platforms, and attending industry events.
  • Customer Outreach: Reaching out to potential and existing customers through emails, calls, social media, and in-person meetings to introduce and discuss the company's products or services.
  • Sales Presentations and Demonstrations: Preparing and delivering presentations or demonstrations of the company's products or services to potential and existing customers.
  • Negotiation and Closing: Negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts with clients to close sales deals.
  • Account Management: Managing relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction, address any issues or concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Market Research: Conducting or contributing to market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies.
  • Sales Planning and Strategy Development: Developing or contributing to sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Reporting on sales activities, performance, and outcomes. Analyzing sales data to identify trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Customer Feedback Collection: Collecting and analyzing customer feedback to improve product offerings, customer service, and sales tactics.
  • Collaboration with Other Departments: Working with marketing, product development, and customer service departments to align strategies and ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintaining a thorough understanding of the company's products or services, including features, benefits, and use cases, to effectively communicate and sell to customers.
  • Training and Development: Participating in ongoing training and development to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Compliance and Ethical Sales Practices: Ensuring all sales activities comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies. Maintaining high ethical standards in all sales dealings.
  • Networking: Building and maintaining professional relationships within the industry to expand the potential customer base.
  • CRM Management: Utilizing customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track customer interactions, sales processes, and pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in a business development or sales role within the off-highway technology sector, with 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Strong understanding of heavy machinery for ag, construction, mining and industrial applications.
  • Demonstrated track record of success selling complex technologies to OEM's in the heavy machinery industry.  
  • Proven record of developing and executing business strategies that have significantly increased revenue.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to assess market trends and business opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications

On Target Commision: $100.000 un-capped.

Position Description: Marketing Coordinator


Are you prepared to elevate your marketing career within a cutting-edge robotics and autonomous vehicles environment? At Mach, we’re seeking a Marketing Coordinator with a flair for both creative storytelling and technical comprehension. You’ll be crucial in communicating our advanced technologies—like sensor fusion, LiDAR perception stacks, and route-planning algorithms—to diverse audiences, from farm operators, engineers, product managers, and C-suite level executives at major construction, ag, defence and turf care OEMs.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Creation
    • Develop high-impact trade videos showcasing Mach’s unique technology stack (e.g., demonstrations of automated GPS-guided tractors).
    • Design compelling graphics using tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, After Effects).
    • Write educational and persuasive copy that translates complex autonomy concepts (e.g., onboard sensor architectures, AI-driven path planning) into accessible messaging.
  2. Trade Show Support
    • Coordinate end-to-end trade show strategies (logistics, promotional materials, booth layouts) that highlight Mach’s advanced robotics and autonomy solutions.
    • Integrate interactive demos (e.g., live telemetry feeds, RTK/communication displays) to engage audiences at industry events.
  3. Brand Development
    • Lead brand strategy to ensure consistent storytelling about Mach’s role in next-generation off-road automation.
    • Collaborate with design teams to maintain cohesive visual guidelines across all media, including digital, print, and 3D trade show displays.
  4. Marketing Strategy
    • Design and execute multi-channel campaigns (SEO/SEM, email nurturing, social media) to generate MQLs (Marketing Qualified Leads) and drive brand awareness.
    • Employ advanced attribution modeling and A/B testing to measure campaign ROI and optimize marketing funnels.
  5. Collaboration
    • Work closely with engineering, product management, and sales to create marketing collateral (spec sheets, white papers, case studies) that precisely communicate Mach’s value proposition, from real-time sensor processing to autonomous vehicle control.
    • Align messaging with internal SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to ensure technical accuracy.
  6. Digital Marketing
    • Oversee website updates and optimize landing pages using analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Hotjar) to refine the user experience.
    • Manage email campaigns and social media outreach, leveraging segmentation and personalization strategies to target distinct industry verticals (agriculture, construction, etc.).
  7. Sales Support
    • Utilize sales systems (Apollo, Odoo, Salesforce) to synchronize lead generation efforts, track pipeline velocity, and measure campaign performance against sales objectives.
    • Implement lead scoring models to prioritize high-value prospects.
  8. Data Analysis
    • Monitor and analyze KPI dashboards (CPL, CAC, LTV) to fine-tune future campaign tactics.
    • Generate regular performance reports to inform strategic decisions and budget allocation.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, design, and media creation—preferably within a technical B2B environment (e.g., industrial machinery, robotics, construction, or agriculture).
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset that thrives in cross-functional environments—especially when translating advanced engineering concepts into effective marketing.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex technical subjects (sensor data workflows, software-defined autonomy stacks) into clear, compelling marketing narratives.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, planning integrated campaigns, and measuring performance through data-driven analysis.

What Will Set You Apart

  • Advanced proficiency in graphic design and multimedia (Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, 3D rendering software).
  • Demonstrated experience with video editing and production—particularly for technical demonstrations or product showcases.
